BA SOLO EXHIBITION ATHENS

Ba presented its collection in Athens, Greece, June 2023, with new handmade pieces. The show was held in Alkinois, an independent project space based in a former furniture factory in Athens, Greece.
The contemporary floor rug and tapestry designs of @baatelier_ are based on the artist's analog collages @sb126, and are handwoven in Egypt. Signed, limited edition art prints on Japanese Tesuki-Washi Fine Art paper were also on display.
Ba rugs and tapestries are woven in Atfeeh. a rural village 100km south of Cairo, Egypt. Salma collaborates closely with the weavers who work from a well-run, purpose-built workshop, operated by a local NGO charity
